Maghera Primary School is delighted to introduce a new EA Catering Theme Week. Eat Smart Week 2025 will run from September 29 to October 3 and is aimed at encouraging children to try new foods while also educating them on food nutrition and food sustainability.
Eat Smart Week is based around the eat well guide and the four major food groups that it contains. One day in the week is dedicated to each food group with Friday dedicated to food sustainability. The dishes and taster pots served on these days will reflect the food group of that day. See more details on the poster below.
