Naming our Specialist Early Years Provision 'The Butterfly Room' reflects the gentle, transformative journey our youngest learners take as they grow. Just as a butterfly emerges with time, nurture, and support, every child in our care is encouraged to flourish and thrive at their own pace.

The butterfly symbolises family, as children are held safely within a caring, consistent environment. It embodies kindness and respect, reminding us to meet every child with patience and acceptance. Butterflies move together in harmony with their surroundings, reflecting the way we learn as a community. Their transformation shows what it means to be brave, trying new things little by little. And because butterflies always return to the places that help them grow, they represent being faithful—staying connected, trusting, and rooted in supportive relationships.
