On Thursday 7th May, Primary 3/4 enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Walled Gardens with the P7 class from St Mary’s Glenview Primary for International Compost Week. Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of exciting activities, including planting peas, weeding the plants, and exploring nature. 🍃
They used nets to catch and observe different types of bugs and used binoculars to spot a range of birds around the garden. Everyone had great fun learning about nature, working together and enjoying the outdoors.🐦⬛🐞🕷️
Primary 3/4 also had a sneak peek at the carrot seedlings they had planted and even the lettuce and parsnip seed they had sowed on Tuesday, they were excited to see how much they had already begun to grow!🥕🥬
