P6 News: Ulster Museum

On Wednesday 15th of June 2016 p6,p4 ,p5 and p7 went to the ulster museum in Belfast .We saw Peter the polar bear, Edmontosaurus , pinosaur, salamamder, Takabuti the Egytian mummy, Gold Lunula, Morpho rhetenor, Chambers cars, The fairy Fountain, st Christopher carrying the Christ child by Jacob jordaens and gold pendant and much more.

We left school at quarter past 9 and when we got to Belfast we got our break. After we got break we went to the Ulster museum. We went around the museum  and saw the cool things listed above. Once we had visited all the exhibits our teachers allowed us to visit the museum shop. We were limited to £5 spending and we think everyone managed to spend that! The shop was great.

Once shopping had finished we played in the botanic gardens and enjoyed the lovely weather. It was a great trip and we really enjoyed using the map and stickers.

Jack thought it was really cool to see the mummy. Peter loved the polar bear.

When we returned to school it was time for the water fight. Mrs Brown played a water balloon game with us. We had to try and pass a water bomb from one sheet to another without it bursting. This did not go so well.

Mr Dillon then played a ten pin bowling water balloon game. Each person had to soak the other group. The team with the most people left won! It was great fun.
